Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all from everyone at KCC.
The club chairman, Derek Joyce, would like to invite all playing and social members, and their friends and family, to Keynsham Cricket Club at 2pm on Friday 30th December for the traditional Port & Stilton social event.
Complimentary port and stilton* will be on offer to anyone who attends and gives everyone a chance to catch up over the Festive period so feel free to come along at any point during the afternoon or early evening.
*other cheeses will be available.
Keynsham CC has now signed up with easyfundraising meaning you can help rasie money for the club whenever you shop online.
It's as easy as creating an account with www.easyfundraising.org.uk and signing up to support the cause, 'Keynsham Cricket Club'. Whenever you shop with hundreds of different online outlets via easyfundraising a percentage of your purchase will be donated to KCC at no extra cost to you.
To make it as straightforward as possible there is a web browser add on to download that will highlight retailers eligible for fundraising and also a free app for you phone and tablet. When you shop through the app using eligible sites the club won't miss out on any donations from your online shopping.
The club is pleased to announce that the new online shop is now open and available for the purchase of playing and training kit. We also have a few extra items which we are also making available online and everything is available in both senior and junior sizes.
All match day playing and training items are now being supplied by Gray-Nicolls and all playing and warm up shirts are sponsored by Sovereign IFA. Current senior cricketers with up to date subscriptions will be provided with a new playing shirt as part of the sponsorship deal.
Gray-Nicolls have set up a dedicated website to allow all members to order any items they require directly from the supplier. There is a short turnaround time and no minimum order so we hope everyone will find this new method more convenient. Please note any issues or queries with these orders, including delivery or returns, should be directed to Gray-Nicolls rather than KCC.
The club is also offering some extra items that can be purchased directly from our own website, including a new club tie. However some of these items are subject to a minimum number of orders. None Gray-Nicolls items must be ordered by 17th February 2017.
The dates for senior indoor and pre-season nets have now been confirmed.
Practice will initially follow the junior's session at Wellsway School on Friday evenings beginning in the New Year and running up until the end of February.
At this point nets will move to Bath Cricket Club on a Wednesday evening up until the weather is good enough to move outside. Full dates are below and players will be asked to pay a cover charge at each session to ensure the club covers costs.
