Without a full committee there will be a significant limit to what the club can accomplish, meaning a reduction in the time, money and effort that can be invested in cricket and cricket facilities. Ultimately, insufficient volunteers will severely jeopardise the club as a whole. A number of current volunteers are no longer able to commit the same amount of time to covering different roles and so additional help is urgently required.
Key roles in need of filling:
- Finance Manager: The incumbent is happy to provide a full handover and shadowing of the role. No particular financial acumen is needed.
- Events Manager: To lead the Events Committee and ensure there are regular social and fundraising events taking place, including the Beer & Cider Festival
- Events Committee: Support the Events Manager in organising and running events.
- Funding Manager: Leading on generating further income for the club.
The committee asks that all members look at how they can help the club continue to operate successfully by volunteering some of their time for the above roles.
