During December, our junior section will be one of the nominated good causes at the Keynsham branch of Waitrose.
When doing your weekly / Christmas / New Year party shopping from this Saturday make sure you drop your green token into our section of the collection box.
At the end of the month our junior section will be awarded a share of £1000 based on the proportion of tokens received. The award will go towards much needed kit and facility improvements for our young players.
Keynsham CC will be hosting a darts open tournament on Saturday 5th January kicking off at 2pm.
Entries must be made in advance and are £10 per player with a field limited to 64 players taking part in a round robin format. There will be a guaranteed prize pot, paying to the final four players, of £300.
Entrants can sign up either by contacting Tony Snook or Chris Wassell via the club or by using the link below:
Over the summer we were pleased to be able to host an Old boys Reunion day at the club. It was great to see plenty of familiar faces including one or two who hadn't visited the club in some time so huge thanks to Pete Tweedie for his efforts in organising the event. A selection of pictures from the day are below:
Keynsham Cricket Club has been nominated as one of three good causes for Tesco's Bags of Help scheme during the next two months.
Anytime you shop in in the Keynsham, Longwell Green or Saltford branches of Tesco during May and June you will be given a token to vote for us to receive funding that will be put towards replacing some of the outdated equipment currently used by our junior section.
With around 150 junior players signed on for 2018 it's really important we are able to keep providing a good standard of facilities and equipment and success in this scheme would go a long way to securing that for the next few years.
All support is much appreciated so please request your token at the checkout and vote for Keynsham CC to receive this much needed funding.
Tickets, priced at £10, for the 2018 Beer & Cider Festival are now available from the club pavilion and via club members.
Entry is once again via ticket only and under 18s will only be admitted if accompanied by a responsible adult. Please note that this year no tickets will be sold online.
More details regarding this year's event will follow soon - keep an eye on the website and our social media for the latest information.
*The club bar is currently open from 7pm on weeknights and from midday at weekends.
