Junior Cricket
2022 Junior Cricket
KCC runs a popular and ever-expanding junior section with over 150 young cricketers currently signed on.
The junior coaching teams consist of both qualified coaches and parent helpers, we are always looking for more volunteers to join the team to help ensure we can continue to offer cricket to as many children as possible.
Friday night SOFTBALL training starts with the U6s (School Year 1) and continues up to U9s (School Year 4)
Softball training typically starts in April and runs until August with sessions starting at 17:30 and lasting around 1 ½ hours.
Friday night HARDBALL training starts with the U11s (School Year 5) and continues up to U15s (School Year 10)
Hardball indoor net sessions run over the winter at Wellsway School (Feb-Mar), Friday outdoor training typically starts in April and runs until August with sessions starting at 19:00 and lasting around 1 ½ hours.
Our junior squads playing competitive cricket (U9s and above) currently play midweek matches in the Bath & District Youth Cricket League and Bristol Youth Cricket Leagues.
KCC Junior Section Expression of Interest
Please note our junior section is extremely popular and all age groups are currently oversubscribed, waiting lists will be prioritised in order of registration.
For anyone wanting to enrol a child in the junior section that produced Marcus Trescothick and most of the current Keynsham 1st XI, please complete the form below and your request will be sent to the Juniors Secretary.
